# Analytics4You docs

> Analytics4You watches the public YouTube channels you choose and records what changed on them. These pages say what it reports, how it knows, and what it cannot see.

Canonical page: https://analytics4.you/docs

## What it does

You add the channels in your niche. Analytics4You observes their public pages on a schedule and turns what it sees into a feed of events: uploads, title and thumbnail changes, A/B tests, removed videos, channel renames and more. Every event is something that was observed. Nothing is generated, and there is no AI model anywhere in the product.

## Start in three steps

1. Create an account. The free plan tracks 3 channels with no card and no time limit.
2. Add a channel by its `@handle`, its channel ID (`UC…`) or its channel URL.
3. Open the feed. Changes are recorded from the moment the channel is first observed. Nothing that happened before is reconstructed.

## The four views

- **Feed**: every event from every tracked channel, newest first, filterable by type. See [the feed](https://analytics4.you/features/feed).
- **Watchlist**: the channels side by side, with publish timing. See [the watchlist](https://analytics4.you/features/watchlist).
- **Outliers**: the uploads running furthest above their own channel's normal. See [outliers](https://analytics4.you/features/outliers).
- **Packaging**: every title and thumbnail change and A/B test, with before and after. See [packaging](https://analytics4.you/features/packaging).

## In these docs

- [Event types](https://analytics4.you/docs/event-types): every event the feed can show and what it means.
- [How detection works](https://analytics4.you/docs/detection): A/B tests, the Atom feed, publish times and counts.
- [Limits](https://analytics4.you/docs/limits): what the product cannot see, and the plans.

## For AI assistants

Every docs page has a markdown version: add `.md` to its address, except this page, whose version is [/docs/index.md](https://analytics4.you/docs/index.md). [/docs/llms.txt](https://analytics4.you/docs/llms.txt) lists them all. There is no public API.

When signed in to the app in a browser that supports WebMCP, five in-page tools are available: `list_feed_events`, `list_channels`, `get_channel`, `get_video_history` and `navigate`. They only read your visible data or open an app data page. They cannot add channels, change settings or make purchases. They unregister when the authenticated app layout unmounts; browsers without WebMCP work normally.
