Analytics4You is operated by the company named on this site, registered in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the service, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller for that information.
Account information. Your email address and a cryptographic hash of your password — never the password itself. If you register a passkey, we store its public credential. We keep session records so you can stay signed in.
Your watchlist. The YouTube channels you choose to track, so we can show them to you. This is the only link between you and the observation data, and we treat it as confidential — we do not publish, sell or share which channels you follow.
Security records. We log security-relevant events on your account — sign-ins, password changes, passkey registration — with a timestamp, so you and we can spot unauthorised access.
Technical data. Anonymous page-performance timings and browser security-policy violation reports, used only to find bugs and slow pages. Our public pages also load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and page-speed measurements without setting any cookie and without building a profile of you. These are not tied to your identity and are not used for advertising or profiling.
How you found us. When you first arrive on our public pages we store one cookie on this site recording the page you landed on, the website that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link. If you go on to create an account, that single record is saved with the sign-up so we can understand which channels bring us customers. It is written once, never updated as you browse, expires after 30 days, and is not shared with anyone or used to track you on other websites.
Payment data. If you buy a paid plan, card details are entered directly with Dodo Payments, our merchant of record and a PCI DSS compliant payment provider, on a payment page it hosts. Card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for the transaction, so it also holds the name and billing address that international card payments require, and it is its name that appears on your statement. We keep only the record of what you were charged and when, which we need for accounting and refunds.
What we do not collect. We have no access to your YouTube account or its private analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
Separately from your account, we record information about public YouTube channels and videos — titles, thumbnails, view counts and publication times — observed from pages that are publicly visible to anyone. That material concerns the channels being tracked, not you, and it is not linked to any customer except through the private watchlist described above.
We set cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and preference cookies that remember your chosen theme and language. On our public pages we also set one first-party cookie recording how you first reached the site, described under “How you found us” above. None of these are used for advertising, none can be read by another website, and we set no third-party cookies at all. The one external script our public pages load, Cloudflare Web Analytics, sets no cookie of any kind — which is why this site shows you no cookie banner.
Our tutorial pages embed our walkthrough videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Opening one of those pages loads that player from Google, and Google’s own privacy policy covers what the player collects. No other page on this site embeds anything from YouTube.
We share personal data only with the providers needed to run the service, and only what each one needs: our payment provider (Dodo Payments, billing), our transactional email provider (account and billing emails, sent through Zoho ZeptoMail in India), our hosting and storage providers, and Cloudflare, which serves this site and provides the cookieless page statistics described above. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Our primary database and file storage are hosted in Mumbai, India. We keep a mirrored copy of some stored images with Cloudflare R2 for resilience. If you are in the EEA or UK, this means your data is transferred outside your region; we rely on appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections with our providers, for those transfers.
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. If you close your account we delete your account record and watchlist within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records longer to meet tax and accounting obligations. Backups are rotated and expire on their own schedule.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can withdraw consent where we relied on it, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email support@analytics4.you and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or degrade your service for exercising these rights.
If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
The whole site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, sessions are held in HttpOnly cookies that JavaScript cannot read, and our database and internal services are not exposed to the public internet. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact support@analytics4.you and we will delete it.
We are established in India, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to have a complaint about how we handle your personal data heard and resolved. Send it to support@analytics4.you with “Grievance” in the subject line. We acknowledge every grievance within 2 business days and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
If we change this policy materially we will email account holders before the change takes effect. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right above, contact support@analytics4.you.
