Every title and thumbnail a video has worn, with the date each one changed — and how to spot when YouTube is running an A/B test on it.

Right now, The PrimeTime is showing different thumbnails to different viewers on one video. Analytics4You caught all three variants, and has observed this test 291 times.
This is the Packaging Lab: every A/B experiment and every title or thumbnail change across the channels you track. Experiments and creator edits are kept apart, because a test rotating variants is not a creator replacing the packaging. Here, Mehul Mohan renamed a video, and both the old and the new title are kept. Views per hour went from 17 to 121 afterwards. That is an association, not proof that the title caused it.
Open any video for its full history: views over time, title edits, thumbnail changes and tests. This one has no creator edits, but YouTube is testing three thumbnails on it right now.
When a test ends, the lab records which variant the video settled on. This title test ran 9 days across four variants and settled on “Computer Use is Solved?” That is what viewers see now. YouTube's private result and click-through rate are never shown, so they are never claimed.
